Lake Como

Lake Como is most likely the most “talked about” of the Italian Lakes. The most romantic lake for sure, and celebrities have been increasing their visit as well as individual tourists over the last few years.
A short train or car ride from Milan, it makes an ideal place to spend a relaxing day discovering the beauty of this area.

A lovely way to enjoy the lake is to take a boat ride and enjoy the number of beautiful public villas and gardens that you can admire as you cruise by. We can take your group to visit a couple of villas’ and have lunch and do some shopping – all in a day! Your group can take the public boat accompanied by our guides, or we can rent a historical steamer for large groups group!

The towns of Varenna and  Bellagio are just wonderful to walk around and the gardens of the Villa Carlotta at Tremezzo, are famous for the flowers, especially in Spring.

For the more adventurous, a flight on a hydrofoil is a breath-taking experience, with a birds-eye view of the lake and the Alps is a once in a lifetime experience.

The funicular railway taking you up to Brunate, also gives you the thrill of a panoramic views without the flight. There is an exceptional walk over the mountain crest, with cute little mountain chalets to stop at for some delicious food and great wine.
