Florence

Florence is a city that makes most people dream. Dream about the opportunity of visiting or for the lucky ones that have already been there, dreaming of going back.

Famous for the immense political and economic power it wielded during the rule of the Medici Dynasty, Florence offered the world a stage for great artistic masters such as Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Leonardo da Vinci and Galileo.

Magnificent building, little bars and traditional restaurants are studded along the cobbled streets and around every corner there is a new wonder revealed before you! A trip to Florence gives you lots of opportunity to take in the sights such as a birds eye view of the magnificent city from Piazzale Michelangelo, a stop at Ponte Vecchio that is one of Florences iconic photography spots and a stroll along the Arno Rive. A visit to the Uffizi Museum, the Accademia, the imposing Palazzo della Signoria and Piazza del Duomo. Another sense that distinguished Florence is the smell of leather at the markets that sell incredible artisan bags, belts and wallets that are all locally made. For groups, we can organize a really enjoyable activity, taking them to the area where a lot of crafts are made with century old techniques, to see the process from start to finish. The area is beautiful to wander through.

The cuisine in Tuscany and therefore in Florence is amazing. Some may incredible places to eat. Groups always enjoy the dinners here and the traditional dish of an open fire grilled “Fiorentina “ steak is enjoyed by the meat lovers. However, vegetarians can still have a feast with incredible pasta dishes and Tuscan soups as well as the extraordinary locally grown vegetable dishes paired with famous Tuscan wines.
