Lake Iseo
Lake Iseo is a jewel nestled between the pre-Alps and is located halfway between Bergamo and Brescia. It is only two hours from Milan!
At the center of the lake stands Monte Isola, a real mountain on the island that divides the lake in two and separates the Brescia side from the Bergamo side. Montisola is the largest lake island in Europe.
Returning to the mainland you cannot visit Lovere, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Visit the Tandini Gallery and then enjoy a plate of polenta with local cold cuts.
For sports lovers, we suggest trekking on the Antica Strada Valerina, which once connected to Valcamonica, or a walk in the nature reserves: Torbiere del Sebino, Pyramids of Zone and Valle del Freddo.
Finally, for wine lovers, we point out that in the surroundings of the lake there is Franciacorta, a wine region where you can meet the same wine producers, ask questions about the winemaking process and enjoy some incredible samplings.
Lake Iseo is waiting for you!
