Como - 2 Days
Como, a lakeside city that takes its name from the homonymous Lake, is the location chosen by a Swiss pharmaceutical company for a strategic and consultative meeting held in February 2019.
The first day was entirely dedicated to the meeting that was held in a beautiful hotel with views of the Lake. Coffee breaks were held in the gardens of the hotel as the weather was warm enough to enjoy outside areas, and lunches were held in the hotel dining room.
We organized a special programme for spouses and the choice fell on a day trip to Milan. Guided by a personal shopper, they had a short walking tour then spent some time shopping in the fashion district and had a lovely lunch, feasting on typical Milanese dishes.
The day ended back in Como with a gala dinner at a well-known restaurant in Como. Guests were able to enjoy a menu that featured local products, such as the typical lake fish and other dishes.
The second day was dedicated to a half day meeting and the other half to relax. Most of the guests took the option to relax in a lake-view spa and a few decided to explore the city of Como before departure.
