A company operating in the immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics segments has chosen Catania as the destination for a Technical Lead Meeting.
Most of the programme was based on the meeting that was held in a well known hotel in the city of Catania, and the evenings were spent enjoying the incredible Sicilian food in local restaurants, chose for the group. The city is small enough to enjoy after dinner and most guests made the most of the evenings, and wandered around the city discovering hidden corners.
The highlight of the meeting was an explosive trip as a half day activity for all the participants. In fact, the group had the opportunity to go on an excursion to Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. Volcanologists from the Volcanological Research Institute of Catania led the group on a walk in the Sartorius Mountains. Once reached Piano Provenzana, a panoramic point on the ancient lava flows, the participants enjoyed a break based on prosecco and some local delicacies).
The guests were then transferred to Masseria Carminello, a beautiful historical building that now houses this gourmet restaurant,where they tasted typical and genuine dishes prepared according to traditional Sicilian recipes.
