The Magic of Venice

“Venice” is a name that immediately evokes magic when people here it spoken. A chocolate box of colours and one of the most unique places on earth, so special and charming that it is on the list of any traveller. The annual sales event of a leading company in the optical sector took place in the magical Venice.

June 2019, and the annual EXPO for this company is held in a hotel, very close to Venice, but just outside the bustling city but close enough to enjoy all the attractions. WE organized a complex exhibition of the products of affiliated retailers. At the same time, training courses were held in the meeting rooms and finally a single large conference, in the auditorium took place to complete the event.

The day ends with a gala dinner on the Island of San Servolo, Venice’s historical and architectural heritage. For the occasion, the Palazzina Grecale was reserved exclusively, a recently built building characterized by important Ca’Rezzonico chandeliers and a large windowed hall. On arrival by boat, our guests were treat to cocktails and finger food, while enjoying the vistas out to the lagoon and towards Venice. A sit-down dinner was served and our guests enjoyed dancing under the stars to the music by a deejay.

The following day we organized a  guided tour around the symbolic places of Venice, from San Marco to the Doge’s Palace, from the Grand Canal to the Rialto Bridge.
