The thousand colors and the thousand flavors of Naples

“Naples of a thousand cultures, Naples of a thousand flavors”. And the event for  a leading company in the optical sector,  took place amongst the Mediterranean colors and flavors of Naples.

The trade exhibition and conference was held in a fantastic Naples bay-front hotel : the exhibition provided a chance for the of the affiliated retailers to meet and discuss future business. At the same time, training courses were held in smaller meeting rooms. The day ended with a charming buffet dinner on the rooftop terrace overlooking the bay of Naples.

However, it was during the  next day that the guests managed to enter the heart of the Neapolitan culture, of its flavors, through local restaurants where pizza and fish are the dominant dishes and the colors of the city, through the excursion “Napoli che passione”. The latter includes a tour of the city: from Borgo Santa Lucia to Piazza Plebiscito, from Via Toledo to Spaccanapoli, to the small streets crammed with artisans and small market stalls. The Church of Santa Chiara was visited and the San Severo Chapel that holds the majestic Veiled Christ sculpture.

The thousand colors and the thousand flavors of Naples were the perfect setting for a unique event and in the spirit of true Napolitans.
