Versilia

The Northern Tuscan coast is a great destination for everyone. The main cities in the coastal Versilia area of Tuscany are Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, Camaiore.

One of the most exclusive and fashionable tourist destinations of Versilia area is Forte dei Marmi. Apart from the glorious beach, you can also walk through the streets and look at its high-class shops and stop and have a cocktail or a coffee.

If you like art and cute little towns then Pietrasanta should be high up on your list. It is called the “little Athens” and it is famous for its artistic and cultural scenes.

Torre del Lago Puccini is a lakeside town was so enchanting to the famous musician Puccini, that he moved here permanently early in his career. The large open-air theatre is home to the Puccini Festival, no doubt a spectacular way to enjoy the finest works of Puccini. Here you can visit his house and from this point enjoy a view of the famous lake.

From Versilia you can easly reach the Apuan Alps, that still make for spectacular views. This is also the birthplace of several types of famous Italian marble.

The Versilia area is great to hold conventions, offering great meeting facilities, but also close enough to organize incredible excursion. The beaches, the shopping and the restaurants and the nightlife make this are of the most dynamic ones that suit so many different tastes and passions!
